How does making a bottle together work?
The Academy's pair option is for two participants sharing the experience and making one bottle together. You work towards a joint flavour choice and a name for your rum label. Each participant takes part in the class and receives a completion certificate.
If your preferences are far apart, individual bookings let each of you make a separate bottle. Check current prices and inclusions, including tax, before selecting the format. A shared booking should be a creative choice, not a surprise about the number of bottles at the end.
What if you disagree about flavours?
Agree on a broad direction first and use the tasting to refine it. Describe what you enjoy in plain language, then ask your instructor how to approach the available options. A preference for a brighter aroma or a gentler finish is easier to work with than insisting there is one correct rum style.

Can this be part of an English Harbour day?
The Academy is at Loose Cannon, Galleon Beach, in the English Harbour area. Make the class your timed booking, then decide what else realistically fits nearby. A heritage visit or time for food can complement the session, but each additional stop needs its own arrangements.

What will you remember afterwards?
The finished bottle can carry a name connected to your trip. Guests are encouraged to take photos during the class, keeping clear of hot equipment and following the instructor's guidance. The steps you completed together are part of the story behind the bottle.
An Academy souvenir shirt is available to purchase separately if you want to take the graduation moment home too. Treat it as a keepsake you choose, with the class and your joint creation at the centre of the day. If an anniversary arrangement or another special request matters, ask the team in advance rather than assuming it is included.
